How to apply ?
You can either apply online at Ministry of Education site or by using application form which you can get from nearest Technic School.

The closing date is on 16 January 2008.

I guess all candidates for Penilaian Menengah Rendah (PMR) should by now got their examination results. Based on reports, last year results is slightly better compared to previous year result.

Overall, more students scored straight As, from 4.5% last year to 5.9%. Five of the top scorers are special students.

For record a total of 469,401 candidates sat for the exam in 3,376 centres from Oct 1 to 5.

After PMR what next ?

In Malaysia, we have many options for PMR leavers to continue for the future SPM :
a) You can remains in the same school
b) Go for boarding school (SBP or MRSM)
c) Go for Technical/ Vocational schools
d) Private schools.

Eventhough this scholarship already closed, I would like to share with all readers on such opportunity for government servant especially our teachers.

Pihak Kerajaan Jepun (MONBUKAGAKUSHO:MEXT) mempelawa Pegawai-pegawai daripada Kumpulan Pengurusan dan Profesional yang terlibat di dalam bidang pendidikan sama ada guru atau pentadbir untuk melanjutkan pelajaran di peringkat sarjana dalam bidang pendidikan di Graduate School of Education. Hiroshima University dengan bantuan biasiswa Kerajaan Jepun.

Tempoh pengajian adalah selama 2 tahun iaitu mulai Oktober 2008 hingga September 2010 dan medium pembelajaran adalah di dalam Bahasa Inggeris.
Syarat-syarat permohonan adalah seperti di bawah:

1. Telah disahkan di dalam perkhidmatan pada tarikh tutup permohonan
2. Mencapai markah Laporan Nilaian Prestasi Gred A (purata minimum 85 markah) bagi tempoh 3 tahun berturut-turut
3. Bersih daripada pertuduhan tatatertib dan bebas daripada dakwaan mahkamah
4. Telah mengisytiharkan harta
5. Mempunyai sekurang-kurangnya 5 tahun pengalaman kerja di dalam bidang pendidikan
6. Berumur kurang daripada 35 tahun pada 1 April 2008
7. Sihat daripada segi fizikal dan mental
8. Fasih dalam Bahasa Inggeris

Calon-calon yang berminat hendaklah melengkapkan Borang JPA(L) LDP 1A/96 dan JPA(L) LDP 1B/96 dan mendapatkan Borang Permohonan MONBUKAGAKUSHO:MEXT daripada Seksyen Pembangunan Manusia dan Latihan, Bahagian Pengurusan Sumber Manusia.

Borang yang telah lengkap diisi hendaklah dikembalikan ke Seksyen Pembangunan Manusia dan Latihan, Bahagian Pengurusan Sumber Manusia selewat-lewatnya pada 10 Disember 2007.
